Up for sale is a legendary Neumann U 87 Ai large diaphragm condenser microphone set in a stunning nickel finish. This set has been lovingly cared for in a home studio environment and has been used to produce some truly amazing music. :)
The microphone is in excellent condition, both functionally and cosmetically, with with only some small blemishes on the body that are barely noticeable. The set comes with a Shockmount, which is in great shape but needs a new ribbon - a quick and inexpensive fix that can be done easily with a replacement part available online.
Please note that there is a small paint mark on the box, and but this does not affect the quality or performance of the microphone in any way. This set was purchased in 2010 and has been used only for professional studio recording sessions, always treated with utmost care and respect.
